This project was to redevelop two areas within a live hospital on a D&B turnkey contract. This consisted of a Maternity Wing on the 6th Floor, located within the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, to facilitate one MRI Scanner and a staff area on the lower ground floor to facilitate the 2nd MRI Scanner. Works involved the Mechanical plant being installed on the 13th floor plant room and the erection of the scaffolding below to allow the MRI to be delivered via the 6th floor window.

The construction works included the following:-

• Strip out of all areas to be redeveloped

• Extensive structural works

• Construction of partition walls to form new layout

• Joinery works

• Extensive M&E works

• Internal finishes

• Fitted furniture

• High level equipment delivery scaffold and aperture into building
