M&O Building Contractors Limited have zero tolerance towards slavery and require our employees, subcontractors, suppliers and other supply chain partners to comply with our values
In accordance with Section 54(1), Part 6 of the Modern Slavery Act, this Policy Statement sets out our commitment to preventing slavery and human trafficking violations in our own operations and supply chain.
Organisational Structure
M&O Building Contractors Limited operate as Main Contracting organisation within the construction industry and undertake works within various sectors including healthcare, education, commercial and public sector work on a nationwide basis
Supply Chain
Our supply chain consists of the following;

- Self Employed workers
- Specialist trade subcontractors
- Design consultants
- Goods and services providers

Due Diligence
As part of our efforts to monitor and reduce the risk of slavery and human trafficking occurring in our supply chain, we have adopted the following due diligence procedures;
- Communication of our commitment to tackling modern slavery to all supply chain partners
- Implementation of compliance standards for modern slavery within our Approved Contractor pre-qualification process
- Incorporation of subcontract amendments within all standard order documents making compliance with modern slavery legislations a prerequisite of all orders

- Identify and action potential risk in our business and supply chains
- Monitor potential risk in our business and supply chain
- Reduce the risk of slavery and human trafficking occurring in our business and supply chains
Effectiveness
The Company uses the following key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure how effective we are in ensuring slavery and human trafficking is not taking place in any part of our business or supply chains;
- Approved Contractor Questionnaire compliance to Modern Slavery policy
- all relevant staff to undertake regular training on modern slavery
- Monitor, investigate and report any areas of concerns raised
Policy Review
This policy will be reviewed and updated at intervals not exceeding 12 months, or as necessary to suit any regulatory change
