Overview

This project was a D&B remodel and refurbishment of an existing Gamma Camera Room within a Nuclear Medicine Department undertaken whilst enabling continued use of the rest of the facility.

The works included the following:

• Removal of redundant structural walls; fixtures & fittings
• Construction of new walls to remodel the Exam and Ancillary Rooms, alterations to existing walls to form new apertures as required
• Pumping of structural grout to defective floor void for underpinning and to support new equipment point loads  
• Installation of a retractable sound dampening partition to create an adaptable additional patient privacy space
• Radiation protection works as required
• All new finishes including bespoke wall graphics
• Full new Electrical installation including mood lighting and patient comfort illuminated ceiling panels
• Full new Mechanical installation to include stand-alone ventilation, heating and cooling
