This project was to carry out alterations and refurbishment works as instructed by the client to areas within a live Prison, the works were in several locations within the Prison so the site foreman had to work very closely with the prison staff to make sure security was maintained during all times.

The construction works included the following:-

• Strip out of all areas to be redeveloped
• Adapt 14Nr existing Rooms to form 7Nr larger rooms
• Installation of 7Nr external disabled Ramps and Handrails
• Alterations to the layout of the Decorator’s workshop and the Court room link
• General M&E works
• Internal finishes
• Fitted furniture
