This project was a D&B turnkey scheme for the full electrical refurbishment works to enable installation of a new CT Scanner including upgrading the existing control room and changing cubicles within an existing area of the hospital.

The electrical works carried out included the following:

• Fully electrical design

• Strip out of all electrical services and redundant accessories

• New medical control panel installation and connection

• Fully HTM06-02 compliant earthing system and associated EBB

• New LED lighting system with fully compliant emergency lighting system to BS 5266-1

• All works associated with the new Starkstrom IPS system dedicated for the CT exam room 

• Installation of a new distribution system for small power and lighting within the suite and air-conditioning

• Fire alarm and Nurse Call alterations
